RESCUE DIVER COURSE

The Rescue Diver Course by PADI course covers the knowledge and skills on how to respond to diver emergencies. You will learn how to identify signs of struggle or panic, and proactively respond to such situations where required. The course will also teach you the appropriate course of actions for when you may encounter an unresponsive or unconscious diver, and provide care until medical professionals arrive.

The Rescue Diver Course curriculum covers:

  • Knowing how to conduct self-rescue for when you encounter complications during your dive
  • Identifying signs and symptoms exhibited by struggling divers and how to best resolve the situation
  • Conducting preliminary health assessments as taught in first aid training (Emergency First Responder)
  • Administering assistance to troubled divers and getting them and yourself to safety
