Arrive Sorong airport (SOQ), reception and transfer to Raja Manta (breakfast on RM).
Sail south to Misool through Selat Sele after port clearance document is obtained. Sail is about 14 hours. Signal will be lost shortly after exiting Sele strait in the afternoon.
Complete liability releases & other paperwork whilst allocating rooms 4 at a time, then set up dive equipment.
Rest until late lunch.
Boat briefing & formal introductions.
Evening meal.
DAY 2 – 3 dives in Wayil area
Dive sites may include:
Four Kings (advanced)
Pulau Nabul (medium-advanced)
Wedding cake (medium-advanced)
Barracuda Rock (medium-advanced)
Neptune’s Fantasea (medium-advanced)
Wayil has data signal and a nearby beach for snorkelling.
After Wayil, 1 dive on the way to Yilliet to enable clear radio communication to Misool Eco Resort for booking next day’s dive sites. Likely dive site is Kalig East (medium).
DAY 3 – 4 dives in Fiabacet area
Dive sites may include:
Karang Bayangan aka Magic Mountain
Boo Window (medium)
Tank or Nudi Rock (advanced)
Yilliet Kecil (medium)
Romeo night dive (medium)
Yilliet has 2G network available, data services intermittently available.
An afternoon trip to Basefin (Baby Shark Beach) is highly recommended.
DAY 4 – 3 dives spanning Yilliet to Defalen
Recommended dive sites:
Pura Pinnacle (medium)
Wagmab wall, Long Island or Farondi Caves & wall (medium-advanced)
Nathan’s Ridge (medium)
Land tours to Wagmab/Farondi secret lagoon and ‘Puncak Love’ can be done, including a beautiful island shaped like a manta ray.
DAY 5 – 4 dives spanning Piaynemo to Sawandarek
Dive sites may include:
Melissa’s Garden (medium)
Batu Rufus (medium)
Arborek (medium)
Manta Ridge (advanced)
Sawandarek night dive (medium)
Land tour on Piaynemo can be done in place of 1 dive. 4G signal available at Piaynemo, Arborek and during overnight in Sawandarek.
DAY 6 – 2 dives spanning Mansuar to Mioskon
Dive sites may include:
Sawandarek Jetty (medium)
Cape Kri (advanced)
Blue Magic (advanced)
Mioskon (medium)
Land tour to Kalibiru (Blue River) after 2 dives. Depending on schedule, guests may need to choose between 2nd dive and land tour.
Start sail in afternoon towards Sorong harbour (about 6 hours), arriving in the evening.
DAY 7
Departure day; breakfast & transfer provided to hotel/airport or other arrangements as viable within Raja Manta’s transport schedule.
