DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING (DSD)

Discover Scuba Diving is a program offered by PADI, one of the world’s leading diving associations in dive education. With the DSD program, you can try scuba diving under the direct supervision of a qualified PADI Professional. The advantage of the DSD program is that you can experience scuba diving for the first time before deciding whether to commit to earning the Open Water Diver certification (although we’re almost 99% sure you’ll want to earn your diving license after this)!

Here at Dive Lah, we prioritise safety and confidence above everything else. The general standards for Professional : Student ratio is typically 1:4. When you take a DSD program with us, we practise a strict 1:2 ratio so that you benefit from the full attention of our dive professionals. For sites that require more supervision (e.g., Manta Point, Nusa Penida), we apply a 1:1 ratio. Our objective is to ensure that you feel safe and comfortable when taking your first experience underwater!

Pre-requisites

• 10 years old
• Be in good physical health

• Pick-up from accommodation and transfer to dive site
• Confined Water/Pool session (this is already included, but participation is optional)
• 2 Open Water dives (this is the exciting part where you get to see marine life up close!)
